Ashes to Go
On Wednesday, February 10th, Christ Church will be offering “Ashes to Go”, a new approach to a centuries-old Christian tradition. Father Harry will be giving blessings and distributing ashes outside of the church on 7th Street from 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM and also from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In addition to ashes, this year the church will be giving out “Lent in a Bag.” Each family that stops will be given a gift bag containing devotional items to help practice a holy lent. We will also hold two Ash Wednesday services, one at 12:00 Noon and one at 7:00 PM, and everyone is invited to come worship with us.
