Holy Eucharist , Rite I . There is usually organ accompaniment for the hymns and service music, but no choir. The nursery is usually NOT available for this service. 8:00am - 9:00am, Worship
The Nursery is open for programs between the services and the 10:30 service. 9:00am - 12:00pm, Youth/Children
The Choir Practices most Sundays at this time in the Sanctuary. On Second Sundays, the Celebration Band practices. 9:15am - 10:15am, Committee/Program
Christian Formation for all ages. Pre-K through 2nd grade meet in the classroom between Comfort Hall and the nursery. Grades 3-12 meet in various rooms in Wheeler House. An adult class is held in Comfort Hall as other activities permit. 9:15am - 10:15am, Formation/Bible Study
Holy Eucharist , Rite II . Except on the second Sunday of each month (when we do contemorary music) and other special occasions, such as baptism, Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to go to Children's Worship following the greetings. Pancake Breakfast , hosted by the Men's Club in Comfort Hall. All the pancakes you care to eat, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit kabobs, grits with butter and/or shredded cheese, orange juice, and coffee for just $5.00 per person. Proceeds support sending our youth to Camp Hardtner, the annual Parish Picnic, and other Men's club sponsored events. 8:45am - 10:15am, Fellowship

Diocesan Youth Event This event is a new offering for youth from 6th grade to 12th grade. The theme is Dreaming with the Maker. The cost is $97. You can get more information and permission forms by going to http://www.solepisc.org/Events1.asp?eid=142. If we have enough people interested we can get a carpool together. The Annual Meeting of Christ Episcopal Church, Slidell will begin with dinner provided by the Men's Club. The business meeting will start at about 6:45pm, and will include reports from the Priest-In-Charge, Wardens, Treasurer, and Search Committee, as well as election of four members to three-year terms on the Vestry.
