Organizations
Christ Church Slidell is a wonderfully diverse and alive body of
people. This web site offers a glimpse of the life that happens
here. You will find descriptions of many of the various groups,
programs, and activities within the parish and some of the
rules of the game which have come out of our common experience. We
hope you will find this helpful to explore this organization and
find the place that is just right for you.
If you are a newcomer, as you begin to scout around, trust that
Christ Church is a remarkably open parish. Almost everyone here came
from someplace else not long ago. They remember the grief of
leaving, and the awkwardness of entering again. We will guarantee
you a welcome here if you want one, and not just by those one or two
good-hearted people who never met a stranger . You will be
warmly received by a whole host of different people, all of whom
understand in some way or another why it is so important to
genuinely belong somewhere. We trust this can be home for you if you
are willing to risk sinking your roots into the fertile soil of this
parish.
